Douglas County’s One Stop System offers four certified full public access sites to help you gain access to a variety of information and services that can help you improve your skills, find a job, find an employee and improve the quality of life for residents of Douglas County. Department of Human Services

Self Sufficiency Programs (formerly Adult & Family Services) Offers a wide range of services for the entire family such as: assisting families and adults in achieving and maintaining self-sufficiency helping parents provide safe and stable homes for children providing permanent adoptive homes for children who can't remain with their biological parents.

Employment Department

Works to promote employment in Oregon by:

• Supporting economic stability for Oregonians and communities during times of unemployment through the payment of unemployment benefits.
• Serving businesses by recruiting and referring the best qualified applicants to jobs, and providing resources to diverse job seekers in support of their employment needs.
• Developing and distributing quality workforce and economic information to promote informed decision making.
• Providing access to child care that is safe, high quality, and affordable.

An exciting innovation, JOBS One-Stop career center, connects employment, education, and training services into a positive network of local resources. Since 1990 this new system has provided job-seekers with access to employment and Training opportunities.
