Subsidized Training Opportunities

UT&E offers employers wage reimbursement opportunities to help you offset your training cost:

WORK EXPERIENCE: If you need some temporary extra help or have a short-term specific job, we will pay 100% of the wages, hourly assessment of workers’ compensation and FICA of a work experience participant placed in your office. You get extra help, and the participant gets valuable work experience to add to his/her resume.
ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: Your organization can benefit from this very successful program that reimburses the employer up to 50% of the costs of training a participant for a specific, regular job with the company. The training subsidy usually works out to 50% of the starting wage, the length of the training contract varies by position and is negotiable. The employer is expected to retain a successful trainee after the subsidy expires.
