Introduction
Umpqua Training & Employment (UTE) respects each individual’s right to personal privacy.  We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement.  This statement applies solely to information collected at UTE’s Web site.

Part I.  Information Collection
UTE collects information through our Web site at several points.  We collect the following information about primary visitors:

We also collect personal information such as addresses,  telephone, social security number,  and employment history information which our users divulge upon requesting an account with UTE. UTE does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information such as age, gender, job skills.  We collect demographic data in order to market the skills of our clients to potential employers.

We verify the accuracy of this information by checking references, validating previous employment, validating education, and perform skill tests.

We collect this information through account registration forms that stores the account information in a secured database. The information is collected voluntary. To receive our services, personal information is mandatory because it is standard employment information that employers will need to know.  Other information we request is optional.

We do employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable UTE to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users.  Our cookies are only valid during a session on UTE's website. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information. 

Part II.  Information Usage.
The information collected by UTE will be used strictly for internal and employment purposes. Users who provide information will receive emails from UTE only.

Registered users can optionally receive additional announcements from us about new jobs, services, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect will not be used to create customer profiles.  We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources.

We may share data with the following third parties: Potential Employers. These third parties will use the information as follows: For employment selection. Users are required to have their information shared with third parties.

We offer links to other Web sites.  Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies.  Their standards may differ from ours.

Our Web site offers job postings and our service information.  Please be advised that information posted in these venues becomes public knowledge.

Part III.  Access to Information
UTE maintains the accuracy of our information by contacting potential employees by telephone.  Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find by calling UTE at 571-672-6671.  Users may delete their information from our database by contacting UTE by telephone or by email.

Part IV. Problem Resolution
If problems arise, users may contact UTE by email, contact form, and by telephone (541-672-7761).  We are committed to resolving disputes within 24-48 hours.

Part V. Data Storage and Security
UTE protects user information with the following security measures: Password protected account, Encrypted Database using 128-bit encryption.
